​1. ALCOHOL POLICY

Guests/Residents under the age of 18 are not permitted to consume alcoholic beverages on the premises. Neither is drunkenness nor disorderliness acceptable or tolerated. ​

2. CANCELLATION 

• A Cancellation of guest Booking is without penalty up to fourteen (14) days or two (2) weeks before date of arrival or date of Check-In. In this case, only incurred charges are deducted such as related to credit-card reversal or associated with special requests. 

• A Cancellation Fee of 60% of the gross Booking will be deducted if made less than fourteen (14) days or two (2) weeks before date of arrival or date of Check-In.    

 

3. CASH BOOKING ON ARRIVAL

• A Cash Booking to be paid at Arrival is time-sensitive; guaranteed or held only for a period of seventy-two (72) hours; after which the Booking automatically expires. Stay can be rebooked but would be subject to availability.

• Paying for Booking on arrival with cash requires a Security Deposit. Booking costs plus Security Deposit is paid on arrival and before Check-In.

• Guest(s) are to send their ID/Passport or Drivers Licence for verification at the time of Booking; no less than forty-eight (48) hours prior to arrival. ID verification is essential in order to begin guest stay. (See Privacy Policy)

 

​4. CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT

• Check-In time is 4:00 PM. Guests arriving early who wish to ensure that their accommodation is available on arrival are advised to book from the night prior to their desired arrival at time of Booking. Applicable rates will apply. 

• Check-Out time is 12:00 Noon. Guests who wish to depart after 12:00 Noon are likewise advised to extend their Booking by an extra day at the time of Booking.

5. CHILDREN

Children under the age of 13 years; during their stay they must be accompanied at all times by an adult (which may be the parent, nanny or babysitter).

6. CONCIERGE

Concierge Services are available on request by and arrangement with our guests/residents On-Site. Once a guest or resident decides to engage Services, an Agreement is provided by TKR Admin and entered into mutually. Services can include, but are not limited to: travel assistance, event coordination and errands. Services are billed by the hour with an initiation fee. Related expenses are charged as acquired. Independent Providers and Third-party suppliers are paid directly. Payments are non-refundable.

7. CONTENTS

PLACES are outfitted by Owners who each anticipate the needs of potential guests in their own creative ways. Guests are expected to use PLACES and their Contents, including furniture, fixtures, electronics, appliances, etc., both indoors and outdoors, in a responsible and reasonable manner, mindful of damage, breakage or loss. Under no circumstance should indoor Contents be placed outdoors. Further, Owners must be consulted and permission granted before any decor changes; before any installations; before attaching fixtures or before moving or re-arranging Contents. 

• In order to assist Owners with ongoing protection of Contents, a small non-refundable fee for coverage is added to each Booking.

• Contents are reviewed at the end of each short-term stay. Approximately one hour before Check-Out, a visual walk-through is conducted with guest(s) and Owner(s) or Attendant(s) to see how A PLACE appears. Additional charges may need to be applied, if conditions determine.

• In the case of a long-term stay, a walk-through is conducted each month at a mutually agreed time, as well as on the day of Check-Out.

• Contents are listed as part of any required, written Agreement. Contents are featured on Homepages. Content lists and on Homepages all form part of these Terms And Conditions.​

8. INDEPENDENT PROVIDERS

Providers are self governing, operating on their schedules and by their practices, independent of TKR, our Attendants and Owners of PLACES in The Garden. Independent Providers are only introduced. However, guests choose to connect with Independent Providers using services in their own discretion.

 

9. KEYS AND LOCKS 

Keys are signed-in at Check-In and signed-out at Check-Out. For security purposes, locks for gates, doors or windows are changed, as soon as possible, if guest(s) or resident(s) lose keys. In which case, cost of replacement locks along with cost of installation are receipted and charged to guest/resident account.

10. LAWS & JURISDICTION

Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with your stay at PLACES in The Garden shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Laws of Barbados.​

11. MEALS

• Tide-Over is complimentary for short-term, when guest-stay is five (5) nights or more. Tide-Over Items are arranged by Attendants.

• Any other meals are offered by Independent Providers.

12. PASSPORTS

Travel to Barbados requires a valid passport with a minimum of six months’ validity.

​

13. PAYMENT

Billings and charges are in Barbados Dollars and are subject to foreign exchange rate fluctuations and/or rates prevailing in your country on the date of transaction. Any refund or deposit reimbursement would be exclusively issued in Barbados Dollars.

14. PETS

As general practice, Owners have opted not to house pets in their PLACES, particularly not to allow pets indoors. But each PLACE in The Garden has its own protocol regarding pets on the premises. Owner permission is required and must be granted before any pet is allowed. In addition, appropriate provisions for pets must be made, beforehand, and agreed upon in consultation with respective Owner.

15. PRIVACY

Any personal information or data provided by guests to us in relation to their stay may be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. For further information on how we process and take care of your personal data, refer to the Privacy Policy on TKR Website.

16. PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO RECORDING

No photography or video recording is permitted except for photographs or videos taken solely for personal use which are not sold or used for any commercial, public or public display purpose.

​17. SECURITY DEPOSIT

A Security Deposit is added to guest account if paying with cash on arrival. An inspection walk-through is conducted with guest(s) and Owner(s) or Attendant(s) approximately one hour before Check-Out. If mutually agreed by parties that damage or loss has not been incurred, the Security Deposit is prepared to be refunded in full.

18. SMOKING

Smoking is a habit that results in damage to property and discomfort to those around. Smoking in public places is against the Law in Barbados. Particularly, the Law states that anywhere "under cover" is a non-smoking area. In Barbados, vaping is regarded in the same way as smoking. With regard to PLACES, smoking also includes smoking of weed, marijuana or any other psychoactive substance.

• No smoking is permitted indoor or outdoor of PLACES in The Garden. If the smell of smoke is detected indoors during a stay, a fine of $500 BDS will be charged to guest or resident account for violation. Discarded butts found indoors or outdoors will likewise be fined. In addition, guest(s)/resident(s) will be asked to leave premises.

​19. TIPPING

Guests are invited to leave a gratuity at the end of their stay. Gratuities are then distributed fairly among Attendants. 

 

20. TRANSPORT

With a guest stay of ten (10) consecutive nights or more, guests receive a dollar gift to apply to taxi-fare for return to the airport at the end of stay.

​21. TRAVELLING

Travellers are encouraged to download the BIMSafe app https://bimsafe.gov.bb in order to upload their travel documents for smooth transition at the airport. However if unable to do so, and if necessary, please complete the information using the kiosk on arrival at the airport. Additionally, the wearing of masks is optional for all guests.
