FEASTS OR MOEDIM OF GOD
"And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying;
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations,
even these are my feasts", [Leviticus 23:1-2]
YEAR OF JUBILEE
The Assembly at THY KINGDOM REIGNS commemorated Jubilee 2017-2018 as a prophetic time since it points to the beginning of another decade with 2020; another 10-year period of resets and adjustments.
On the tenth day of the seventh month in the fiftieth year on God's Sacred Calendar, the trumpet is sounded and liberty is proclaimed over the land and to all the inhabitants thereof; every man shall return unto his possession, and every man unto his family [Leviticus 25:9-12].
We believe that this Jubilee is very significant particularly to those who are watching for the 'Appearing of Messiah'.
Jubilee is a mega Sabbath which we should jump to honor with glee and rejoicing. At Jubilee, all return to the family. Hence, because of the times, this Jubilee can be counted as a major signal that Messiah, our Jubilee, our liberty, is in process, gathering His Family to be reconciled together in Him.
KINGDOM
HOLYDAYS
In the Kingdom of God there are days and seasons set aside for the Family of God (the Assemblies, Congregations, Peoples, both in Heaven and Earth) to remember, to gather together, to celebrate; to give honor; at a set time, much like in our countries and nations around the world where annual holidays are marked or made festive.
Passover, Pentecost and Tabernacles are Moedim which our Father in Heaven have given as mandatory on Earth. These three are the major Feasts.
But each year, the Assemblies and Peoples of all Nations are priviledged and blessed with many more. Here at THY KINGDOM REIGNS we remember and celebrate Seasons, Fasts and these Feasts:
-Feast of the Lamb /
Korban Pesach
-Passover / Pesach
-Unleavened Bread /
Chag HaMatzot
-First Fruits / Reshit
-Pentecost / Shavuot
-Feast of Trumpets / Yom Teruah
-Day of Atonement / Yom Kippur
-Feast of Tabernacles / Sukkot
-Feast of Dedication / Hanukkah
-Feast of Lots / Purim
HANUKKAH
2016/2017
DECEMBER 24 - JANUARY 1
TKR commemorated Hanukkah, the Feast of Dedication, where we honoured the miracles of the season and received fresh revelation of the Temple of God.
The eight days of observerance were marked by a myriad of exquisite visions and dreams, as well as heavenly encounters among the Congregation. One notable is that during the days of this great Feast, our Prophet heard trumpets blast in the heavenlies on two separate occasions, early in the morning at about 3:00AM.
Consequently, we understand that specific decrees God made at the sounding of these trumpets usher in a shift toward events prophesied for the Last Days. As such, decrees concerning Mount Zion, Israel, the Holy Temple at jerusalem, and indeed, regarding the entire Body of Christ, as examples, will begin to unfold.

SEASONS & CYCLES
5785-5786 / 2025
The Holydays are God's appointed times — times of Joy and Refreshing. They provide us Windows of Blessing, Opportunity, Break-through, Protection and Revelation...
Each Feast memorializes a special event in our Judeo-Christian Foundation. Each offers a window of blessing and revelation for our present and our future. Collectively they create a powerful yearly cycle by which we can order our lives. The Lord embedded unique Elements within each that promote spiritual development; a fruitful and adventurous life in Him.
And it so happens, the Bible Holydays correspond to God's Plan of Redemption, the First Coming of LORD Jesus, His Glorious Appearing, His Second Coming, The Marriage Supper, and other special events. LORD Jesus commemorated the Biblical Holydays as He was highlighting the Ways of The Kingdom during His First Sojourn.
Important to note is Colossians 2:14 informs that ordinances which were against us are nailed to The Cross of our LORD Jesus. Such ordinances brought condemnation, and at times death when violated, for we are training in the rudiments of clean and unclean; holy and unholy; thereby pointing to the reality that we must have clean hands and a pure heart to stand in The Manifest Glory of The Most High God; or to stand before Him like Prophet Elijah and other Patriarchs; or to ascend to His Holy Place; or to abide in higher levels of the Holy Spirit; and more. Such ordinances pertained to divers washings, eats, drinks, fire or burnt offerings, and the blood of animals. However, the Ten Commandments on which we base moral definition and civil laws; and the Statutes of which the Feasts and Cycles are part, are not carnal. These were never against us at anytime.
In the Book of Hebrews we are given some detail of ordinances that were against us and that are nailed to The Cross:
Hebrews 9:6-12
Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God.
But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people:
The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:
Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;
Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.
But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
SPRING FEASTS

PURIM
Fast of Esther
Feast of Lots
Adar 13-15, 5786
March 2-4, 2026
Purim celebrates how God miraculously delivered the Nation Israel from annihilation. Ahead of the diabolic scheme of Haman, God positioned Esther as Queen of Persia and Mordecai as an Honored Man of the King. Both Esther and Mordecai were Jews. And, by the Hand of God, their strategic actions undermined and ultimately destroyed the diabolic plot, the Royal Vizier Haman, Haman's family and all those who had sought to kill God's People.
What looked like imminent disaster for the Nation turned into an astounding victory - the victory celebration of Purim!

FEAST OF THE LAMB
Korban Pesach
Nisan 10-14, 5786
March 28-April 1, 2026
The Feast Of The Lamb is the first Commemoration given to Israel. Israel was instructed to take a lamb on the 10th of Nisan to keep until the evening of the 14th. On the 14th they were then to slay the lamb. [Exodus 12:1-6].
During those four (4) days, families would have cared for the lambs, even creating an attachment for that period. But afterward, families had to detach themselves and slay the lambs.
The 10th of Nisan is the same day our LORD entered Jerusalem on a donkey, hailed by the crowds with adoration and praise. After four days, however, many in those same crowds chanted to the authorities to crucify Him.
In the year when the LORD was crucified, the 10th of Nisan fell on a Sunday (Palm Sunday celebration by Christians). As He entered Jerusalem, Jewish households were all selecting their “personal lambs,” as our heavenly Father had selected the perfect Lamb riding into their midst on a donkey.
True to the pattern of this Feast, given to Israel at the Exodus, the LORD Jesus was sacrificed on the evening of Passover, four days after he entered Jerusalem.

PASSOVER
Pesach
Erev Nisan 14-21, 5786
Eve March 31-April 8, 2026
Passover is the oldest continuously observed religious ceremony in the world, going back nearly 3,500 years. It celebrates the miracle of God delivering Israel from the bondage and slavery of Egypt. For Christians, this Feast foreshadows the redeeming work of Jesus as The Passover Lamb. In fact, Passover is the incredible act of grace and redemption extended to the world through LORD Jesus Christ..
Passover is the first of the three pilgrimage feasts (along with Shavuot and Sukkot) which The Most High God requires that all should keep.

FEAST OF UNLEAVENED BREAD
Chag HaMatzot
Nisan 14-21, 5786
April 1-8, 2026
Concurrent with Passover is Chag HaMatzot, or the Feast of Unleavened Bread, when no chametz may be eaten or possessed for a full seven days. During the month prior to Chag HaMatzot homes are cleansed of all possible chametz (products or residue which might contain leavening such as bread, crumbs etc.)
The instruction for the seven days is to learn the spiritual lessons of eating unleavened bread [Exodus 12:14-20; 13:6-7; Leviticus 23:6], which is symbolic of living sin-free just like our LORD Jesus Christ.

FIRST FRUITS
Reshit Katzir
Yom HaBikkurim
Nisan 16, 5786
April 3, 2026
First Fruits commemorates the day Messiah Jesus rose from the grave. After our LORD spent three days and three nights in the belly of the Earth, He rose and is alive again forevermore.
During this time in Ancient Israel, a Wave-Omer Offering was to be presented before God [Leviticus 23:10-14] on behalf of the Nation. Essentialy, this Offering was one of grain and drink, accompanied by a burnt offering of a one year old male lamb without blemish. The Offering had to be made before any of that year’s harvest from the rest of the fields could be eaten.
There is relevance of the Resurrection of Messiah Yeshua to this Wave-Omer First-Fruits Offering. One is that, Messiah Yeshua is The First Fruits from the dead. Without His Resurrection, no other fruit from the grave could be harvested. No other fruit from the dead could ascend.
The Hebrew word Bikkurim is literally translated: “promise to come.”

COUNTING THE OMER
Sefirat HaOmer
Festival Of Weeks
Nisan 15 - Sivan 5, 5786
April 2 - May 21, 2026
According to the Torah, we are to count the days - seven weeks of days - from Passover to Shavuot. This period is known as Sefirat HaOmer: 'The Counting of the Omer' or 'The Counting of the Sheaves'. An Omer is a unit of measure, and on the second day of Passover, in the days of the Temple, an Omer of Barley was cut down and brought to the Temple as an Offering. This grain offering was referred to as The Omer.
"And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete:
Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the Lord" [Leviticus 23:15-16] [Deuteronomy 16:9-10]
The counting is intended to remind us of the link between Passover, which commemorates the Exodus, and Shavuot or Pentecost, which commemorates the giving of the Torah. It reminds us that the redemption from slavery was not complete until we received the Torah. Every day during this season a blessing is recited announcing how many more days are left of the seven weeks of days, thereby building anticipation toward Shavuot. Psalm 67 is often read because it is comprised of 49 Hebrew words that correspond to the 49 days of the Omer count.

PENTECOST
Shavuot
Sivan 5-7, 5786
May 21-23, 2026
Pentecost marks the revelation of the Ten Commandments and the Torah God gave Israel at Mt Sinai – which contains the divine principles and standards for governing the Nation and for living obedient unto God. Seven weeks following Passover, a period of time the Bible calls ‘Counting the Omer', the Nation gives thanks for the First Fruits of the wheat harvest, which brings the commemoration to Pentecost.
Further, after His Resurrection, the LORD Jesus spent 40 days with the Disciples. Before ascending or returning to Heaven, He instructed them to wait in Jerusalem for the "Promise of the Father". Using the established date when the Law was given (Pentecost) God sent His 'Promise', which descended upon the Disciples in an outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
TESHUVAH BEGINS

ELUL
The Sixth Month
Elul 1-29, 5786
August 14 - September 11, 2026
Elul is the Lord’s special season of “teshuvah” and return. The key symbol for this season is the shofar or the trumpet. The sounding of the shofar is a powerful 40-day period to alert us to be prepared for the appointed times of Rosh Hashanah—The Feast of Trumpets; Yom Kippur—The Day of Atonement; and Sukkot—the Feast of Tabernacles.
The 30 days of Elul is sometimes called the month of mercy and hightlights God's desire that we stay in tune with how He is moving in the Season. So for weeks, His priests understand to blow the trumpet in Zion and sound the alarm [Joel 2].
And as we draw near to the Lord in prayer, with praise and thanksgiving and by being a blessing to others, God promises to draw near to us with blessing and favour.
FALL FEASTS

ROSH HASHANAH
Yom Teruah
Feast of Trumpets
Erev Elul 29 - Tishrei 2, 5787
Eve September 11-13, 2026
Rosh Hashanah which means ‘Head of the Year’ is the Civic New Year and a time for new possibilities, new goals, and new beginnings. It is a significant and deeply meaningful holiday in the Jewish faith. It marks the beginning of the High Holy Days of the Fall, a period of introspection, repentance, and spiritual renewal. At its core, Rosh Hashanah is a time of reflection, repentance, and renewal of one’s relationship with both God and fellow human beings. It is believed that on this day, God judges each individual’s deeds from the past year, determining their fate for the upcoming year.

DAYS OF AWE
Yamim Noraʾim
Tishrei 1-9, 5787
September 12-20, 2026
The Days Of Awe follow Rosh Hashannah. The Ten Days starting with Rosh Hashanah and ending with Yom Kippur are commonly known as the Days of Awe or the Days of Repentance. This is a time for serious introspection, a time to consider the mistakes of the previous year and repent before Yom Kippur.
Actually, the Ten Days of Awe include Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur and the days in between, during which time Jews should meditate on the subject of the holidays and ask for forgiveness from anyone they have wronged.
Of note also, Jewish tradition says The Books [Daniel 7:10 ] are open where Father God in Heaven records our deeds and attitudes toward each other during these days.

YOM KIPPUR
Day Of Atonement
Erev Tishrei 9-10, 5787
Eve September 20-21, 2026
Yom Kippur is observed on the tenth day after Rosh Hashanah. On this evening, sundown begins the twenty-four hours of the Feast of Yom Kippur—an appointed time at which God has decided to meet with us in a way that is different from any other time of the year.
During this meeting, God writes our name in the Book of Blessing for the next year so that the windows of heaven can be opened over our lives, our family, finances, and our future—windows that cannot be closed for the entire year. The basis for Yom Kippur is described in Leviticus 16:6-10

SUKKOT
Feast of Tabernacles
Feast of The Ingathering
Erev Tishrei 14-21, 5787
Eve September 25 - October 2, 2026
Sukkot paints a vivid picture of restoration. It’s a time when we experience the early and latter rain—a season of God’s gracious provision, both spiritually and materially. This is why many Jewish prayers over the seven (7) days are centered on physical needs and quality of life.
Sukkot, the Feast of Tabernacles, marks the grand finale among the LORD's appointed feasts. The number seven (7) signifies completion and fulfillment, aligning perfectly with God’s redemptive plan for His people. It’s a season of promise and blessings, a time of joy, expecting an outpouring of God’s grace
Sukkot is the only Feast of the Lord that openly aims to bring Jews and Gentiles together. It’s unique from Passover and Pentecost in that Gentile believers in Yeshua are also invited [Zechariah 14]. God’s people are rediscovering their Jewish roots and all the inheritance and heritage that comes with it! There is a great recovery experience within the church and synagogue to rebuild friendship and unity…and this unity will hasten the Return of our Messiah!
WINTER FEAST

HANUKKAH
Chanukah
Feast of Dedication
Festival Of Lights
Erev Kislev 24 - Tevet 2, 5786
Eve December 14-22, 2025
Hanukkah is known as the Festival Of Lights. The word Hanukkah actually means “dedication” in Hebrew as the biblical holiday celebrates the re-dedication of the Temple of Jerusalem that was reclaimed by the Maccabees. Hanukkah commemorates the miracle of the oil that lasted eight days, allowing the rededication of the Second Temple in Jerusalem.
The story of Hanukkah, as recounted in the Talmud, symbolizes resilience, faith, and the triumph of light over darkness. It’s a time of reflection on the historical struggles of the Jewish people and a celebration of religious freedom. To celebrate the ancient miracle of the oil burning a candle for eight nights, Jews celebrating Hanukkah light a candleholder called a Hanukkiyah for eight nights. The Hanukkiyah is a type of Menorah holding nine candles—one for each night plus a candle called the Shamash used to light the other candles.
The Shamash, the eternal light in the Temple Menorah never went out. Miraculously, it burned continually, 24-hours a day, seven days a week, year after year. Jewish history records that the year that Jesus was crucified, the candles could no longer be lit in the Temple. The eternal light went out. They had to keep lighting it and lighting it and lighting it. Then the Temple was destroyed in 70 AD.
SABBATH

SABBATH
Shabbat Weekly
Seventh Day
Shabbat begins just before sundown on each Friday night and is ordained by God as an opportunity to receive peace, prosperity, healing, joy, and many other blessings particularly for families.

SHABBAT SHUVA
Sabbath Of The Return
Erev Tishrei 4-5, 5787
Eve September 18-19, 2026
Shabbat Shuva is the special Shabbat between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. It is also referred to as Shabbat Teshuvah because it falls during the Ten Days of Repentance—the Days of Awe.
TORAH

SIMCHAT TORAH
The Joy Of Torah
Erev Tishrei 22-23, 5787
Eve October 3-4, 2026
Simchat Torah is Hebrew for “the joy of Torah.” It is a celebration, often accompanied by dancing and singing, to mark the completion of the annual reading of the Torah Portion of the Bible. Each week of the year, congregations around the world read a particular portion of the Torah in synagogue, called a parashah, in a specified order.
Simchat Torah is one of the most fun days of the Jewish year. After seven “hakafot,” rounds of parading and dancing with the Torah, the final passages of the book of Devarim (Deuteronomy) are read.

HAFTARAH
Taking Leave
Reading on Sabbath and Holydays
Haftarah is a series of selections from the books of Nevi'im ("Prophets") of the Hebrew Bible (Tanakh) that is publicly read in synagogue as part of Jewish religious practice. Portions of the Prophets are chanted or read in Synagogue on the Sabbath and Holy Days immediately after the Parashah (Torah Portion).
What is a Blessing of the Haftarah?
Praise to You, Adonai our God, Sovereign of the universe, Rock of all creation, Righteous One of all generations, the Faithful God whose word is deed, whose every command is just and true, for holiness and rest, for honor and glory: we thank and bless You.
SABBATICAL YEARS

SHEMITAH
Seventh Year
Elul 29, 5788 - Elul 29, 5789
September 20, 2028 - September 9, 2029
The Shemitah is an allowance for the land to rest every seventh year. The Shemitah carries a promise of bountiful harvests for the Land of Israel and unto those outside who choose to observe this Sabbath. It has been described as a test of faith in the Living God.
"And the Lord spake unto Moses in mount Sinai, saying,
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the Lord.
Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof;
But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the Lord: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.
That which groweth of its own accord of thy harvest thou shalt not reap, neither gather the grapes of thy vine undressed: for it is a year of rest unto the land.
And the sabbath of the land shall be meat for you; for thee, and for thy servant, and for thy maid, and for thy hired servant, and for thy stranger that sojourneth with thee.
And for thy cattle, and for the beast that are in thy land, shall all the increase thereof be meat" [Leviticus 25:1-7]
